Singing the gospel “Quartet Style” with three great guys that love the Lord and are committed to him. He and Julie attend Walker Memorial Church of God in Princess Anne.

Jeff Coalter

Jeff was an MK (missionary’s kid) who grew up in Brazil, South America.  When he was 11 years old his roommate at the mission boarding school came back from a year in the US with a reel-to-reel recorder and boxes of tapes of gospel quartets.  At that time Jeff began to dream of singing bass with the Blackwood Brothers.  Singing with Reunion is the fulfillment of a long-standing dream which Jeff thought would never be anything more than a dream.  In the intervening years Jeff became a public school teacher in Wicomico County and a licensed minister pastoring a church in Somerset County.  His wife of 37 years is an ordained minister and works in a law office.  She loves music and packs her life with playing piano, singing in two community choirs, and special occasion performances with various church choirs.  Their youngest daughter also sings with community and local church choirs and continues to live at home waiting for God to lead her into His future for her.  One of Reunion’s last concerts of the 2010 season was at the church Jeff pastors.  During the concert Jeff asked the group what their thoughts and plans were for after Jimmy left the group.  After the concert, while visiting with the group, Jeff mentioned that if their other possibilities didn’t work out he would be interested in “auditioning” for them.  Ultimately Jeff joined the group for a practice session and the decision was made to add him to the group.  Jeff has felt God’s blessing on him through Reunion.

Phil Parks

Phil is no stranger to Southern gospel music here on the Eastern Shore. He began many years ago singing tenor with the Unity Quartet. He then sang for many years with New Vision.  He and his wife Marlene live in Marion, MD.  His children, Eric, Patrick and Kim are grown and living in different areas on the east coast. His oldest daughter, Nikki, and her husband Dale live close to home, and his youngest daughter’s, Natalie and Bethany live at home.  Phil continuously gives thanks to the Lord for the miracle of his two youngest daughters who were adopted.  Many of you have heard his testimony of how God gave him and Marlene their two daughters. What a Great God we serve!!  Just recently, Natalie, who is seven,  sang with Reunion for the first time.  Phil continues to sing Tenor for Reunion along with all the other responsibilities of life that he is actively involved in.  He and Marlene and their girls attend Walker Memorial Church of God in Princess Anne.

Robert Wass

Robert lives in Princess Anne, MD.  His daughter Megan lives in Phoenix, AZ.  He is originally from West Virginia, but moved to Princess Anne permanently after he graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) in 1975,  Robert sings Bass for Reunion.  He originally started singing solos as he was growing up in West Virginia and also sang with his cousins (The Smith Brothers) while he was in college.  Robert would like to thank the Lord for allowing him to sing and witness for Him.  He enjoys every minute of it.  Robert attends and is a member of First Baptist Church in Princess Anne.
